Notifications, background tasks, automatic synchronization or alarms do not work correctly for “Example App” on your Honor View 10?


  1. Open the “Settings” of your device.
  2. Choose “Battery”.
  3. In the middle of the screen, tap on “App launch”.
  4. Find “Example App” in the list of apps.
  5. Next to “Example App”, make sure the switch is turned on, i.e. with its knob or handle at the right.
  6. Tap on “Example App” again to turn the switch off, i.e. with its knob or handle to the left.
  7. A window with the title “Manage manually” should appear.
  8. Next to “Auto-launch”, make sure the switch is turned on, i.e. with its knob or handle at the right.
  9. Next to “Secondary launch”, make sure the switch is turned on, i.e. with its knob or handle at the right.
  10. Next to “Run in background”, make sure the switch is turned on, i.e. with its knob or handle at the right.
  11. Tap on “OK”.
  12. At the top right, tap on ⋮ (three dots) to open the expanded menu.
  13. Choose “Manage manually”.
  14. Find “Example App” in the list of apps.
  15. Next to “Example App”, make sure there are three checkmarks in the checkboxes.
  16. Leave by pressing ○ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.

  5. Tap and hold the entry for “Example App”.
  6. Move down the entry for “Example App” by swiping to the very bottom.
  7. Release the entry for “Example App” by lifting your finger again.
  8. In the top-right corner of the entry for “Example App”, there should be a lock icon now.
  9. Leave by pressing ○ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.
