Notifications, background tasks, automatic synchronization or alarms do not work correctly for “Example App” on Android 4.1–4.4 (“Jelly Bean”, “KitKat”)?


  1. Open “Security” on your device.
  2. Choose “Accelerator”.
  3. In the top-right corner, tap on “⚙” (“Gear”).
  4. Choose “Memory acceleration whitelist”.
  5. If “Example App” is in the list, there’s nothing left for you to do. Otherwise, proceed with the next step.
  6. At the bottom, tap on “Add to whitelist”.
  7. Choose “Example App” from the list of apps.
  8. Leave by pressing ⌂ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.
  9. Open “Example App” on your device.
  10. Leave by pressing ⌂ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.

  3. If unsure, consider uninstalling the app claiming to “clean” or “boost” your device.
