Notifications, background tasks, automatic synchronization or alarms do not work correctly for “K-9 Mail” on Android 4.0 (“Ice Cream Sandwich”)?


  1. Open the “Settings” of your device.
  2. Choose “Battery”.
  3. Tap on “Background activity manager”.
  4. Next to “Background activity cleaner”, make sure that the switch is turned off, i.e. with its knob or handle at the left.
